High School Stats:

Emer played on both sides of the ball as a lineman at Iroquois High School. At defensive line his senior season, he led the Chiefs with 75 tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss, 8.5 sacks, 16 quarterback pressures, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and seven pass breakups. The two time team captain was an All-Western New York first team selection as a senior, as well as a 2016 Trench Trophy recipient, given to the top lineman. He was a NYSSWA Class A first team selection, and a 2016 Buffalo Bills Alumni Outstanding defensive lineman award winner.

Addazio’s Take:

“Nate Emer, defensive tackle from Iroquois, New York. He’s a 6’5″, 260-pound guy who you can just see is a raw-bone guy who is going to fill out and become a big man … a little bit under the radar that he’s got a great motor and a great toughness to him.”

Our Take:

Emer will add depth to an already strong defensive line. He is a young player with strong upside who will have time to grow and learn the system, and make an impact for the Eagles. He is a tough player who wrecked havoc on Western New York quarterbacks at Iroquois High School, and if he fills out and continues to put on weight, will contribute to Paul Pasqualoni’s unit.
