High School Stats:

Alec played his high school ball at Shepherd Hill Regional High School, under his father, head coach Chris Lindstrom, Sr., where he was named to the USA Today All-Massachusetts first team all-state selection on the offensive line. He was also a Telegram & Gazette Super Team selection as a junior after helping pave the way for a Rams’ offense that averaged nearly 270 yards per game and 28.5 points per game. As a senior, he was named to SuiteSports first team all-state performer after a season in which the offensive line helped Shepherd Hill average 7.6 yards per carry and rush for over 3,300 yards.

Addazio’s Take:

“Alec Lindstrom is here mid-year. Alec, the brother, Chris, I mean, he is going to play center for us. Just like Chris, going to come out of high school undersized, not going to be on a Division I radar because of that and is going to end up being a great player. We had him in camp. He was dominant in camp on both sides of the ball, dominant. So he’s going to gain in weight, he’s going to go from 240 to 260 to 280 to 300 and be just like Chris from the standpoint he’s going to end up having the size. But his tenacity, his aggressiveness and his physicalness is remarkable, it really is. That’s one of the guys truly under the radar that will become one hell of a player here, and that’s a fact.”

Lindstrom on Commitment:

“Living the dream… Can’t wait to start #decidetofly”

Our Take:

Alec will join his older brother Chris on the offensive line, who has started the last two seasons for BC. Alec’s father and high school coach also has football legacy, who played at Boston University and in the NFL. Alec is one of three Eagles recruits who will begin his time at the Heights a semester early. He is slightly undersized for his position, but within the first few weeks on campus, he has already put on 10 pounds. Lindstrom is a physical and aggressive lineman, who can continue to add weight and turn out to be a valuable piece of an offensive line that will look to get Jon Hilliman, AJ Dillon and co. as many yards as they can amass. He comes from a football family, and after years of shadowing his father at Shepherd Hill, he has plenty of experience playing against bigger players. He is a player who slipped under the radar on the recruiting trail and will bring tremendous upside to the Eagles.
