
BC Loses to Clemson: By The Numbers

Boston College lost to the Clemson Tigers 34-7 in Death Valley, South Carolina in a game that was close throughout. Ultimately the Eagles fell apart in the 4th Quarter and lost their 3rd consecutive game, dropping their record to 1-3 on the season. Here are some interesting statistics from the contest.
- 7-7: The score at the end of 3 quarters in Death Valley
- 34.5: The amount of points BC was an underdog by against the National Champions
- 0-2: The number of touchdowns and interceptions respectively for Tiger QB Kelly Bryant, the BC secondary was shut down all day long
- 106: Rushing yards for Bryant, although he was ineffective with his arm, he roasted the maroon-and-gold defense with his legs
- 236: Yards gained by the Clemson running backs, mostly juniors Travis Etienne and Tavien Feaster
- 18-9 – Carries for RB A.J. Dillon and Jon Hillman respectively, the Eagles’ starting RB job looks like it’s Dillon’s to lose
- 1 – Missed field goal by Colton Lichtenberg his first of the year
- 2 – Interceptions by BC, Lucas Dennis and Isaac Yiadom combined for 21 tackles in addition to the picks
- 1.5 – Sacks by Ty Schwab, the senior linebacker stepped up when the corps looked thin
